Sure ....: First of all, you are still early in your reproductive life and I imagine your periods are still a bit irregular. Add in the intensity and excitement of your relationship (and the stress that often goes along with becoming sexually active) and a delayed period is not unusual at all. Condoms when used correctly offer reliable contraception, but you might consider a hormone implant/pills/injection.
