A member asked:

I've been having frequent hot flashes, it's definitely not menopause as i'm only 25. what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Consult your Doctor: Although hot flashes mostly occur in Menopausal women. But can occur even at 24.Most of the time it is related to low level of estrogen.Low estrogen level can occur from certain medications. It seems you are not taking any of those meds as you did not mention it. Need to check your Thyroid gland and estrogen level,Also Carcinoid syndrome in which there is increase production of serotonin.
