Just before i'm due for my period i get itchy why is that?

"Periodic" itching: Not any unusual symptom prior to onset of a period. Due to the hormonal changes that initiate uterine sloughing. Antihistamines sometimes lessen symptoms. Hormone therapy may also help. Suggest starting with a gynecologist.
