if your last period ended on the first of the month can your next period start during that same month?

Yes: Its different for each women but the normal length of time between the beginning of one period and the beginning of the next can range from 21-35 days. So its quite possible for some women to have a period starting at the beginning of one month and start the next one towards the end of the same month. Best wishes!
