Depends on number of: factors. In particular, whether or not you have a seizure disorder and that is the reason that you are taking the Klonopin (clonazepam). In any case, stopping benzodiazepines (medications such as Klonopin (clonazepam)) cold turkey is not recommended. If you have a seizure disorder (epilepsy) consider going to Urgent Care or ER. I'd taper: Though it probably wouldn't be guaranteed life-threatening to quit cold-turkey you'd be much safer doing a taper regimen written by your physician. Usually that consists of alternating lowering the dosage and decreasing how often you're taking it over the course of a few weeks. It just isn't worth the risk to just stop.
