A member asked:

Both ovary big in size. peripheral cyst there. abdomen and back pain and sometimes nausea. how to take treatment for this? is it dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably ok: A cyst is not pathology, it is merely descriptive. It is the type of cyst that is important. Also, what does large mean? In most women your age these "cysts" are either follicles or a corpus luteum. They can be treated by birth control pills, if treatment is even required- most need no treatment. Most "cysts" do not cause back pain, abdominal pain or nausea.
