Shaving folliculitis: Sounds like you developed folliculitis after shaving, which is an inflammation or infection of the hair follicles. You may need an antibiotic to clear it up, but short of that try an antibiotic ointment on the area 2-3 times a day after washing with an antibacterial soap. Always use a new razor when shaving. Better yet, don't shave - you have hair there for a reason, and this can happen shaving
