Maybe herpes...: Hmm... You have a misunderstanding about genital herpes. There is no such thing as "not sexually transmitted kind" of genital herpes. However, rarely causes prolonged open sores. Nevertheless, herpes is a possible cause if you have some sort of immune deficiency disease or are taking immune suppressing drugs. Work with your doctor on it; or maybe need infectious diseases consultation. Good luck!
