A member asked:

Can honey and molasses cause delayed allergic reactions or are they more immediate, within a few minutes?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Rare: Since bees collect mainly from flowering (not airborne pollen) plants, only rare instances of allergic reactions have been reported. I am not aware of any report of a delayed reaction . Molasses are from sugar and I am not aware of any report related to an allergic reaction to them.
