See your neurologist: If you have a seizure disorder, pregnancy could alter your medication levels and allow a seizure to occur. If you have had a seizure but do not have a diagnosis of seizure disorder, then you need to discuss this with your OB NOW. A seizure is more likely to injure you than your baby, but it you are hurt or injured, it could affect your baby adversely. Act now to protect you both.

Call 9-1-1: or the Canadian equivalent. Also, make sure your family & friends know to do that for you. Seizures are potentially dangerous for anyone at any time, but a seizure during pregnancy is even more of a concern, for both the expectant mother and the baby.
