Cough: A cough can be a symptom is asthma. Often there are triggers like colds that cause it. There is often associated shortness of breath and wheezing. Keep a record of your symptoms and review this with your doctor. You can get lung tests that help with the diagnosis and asthma medications to see if you respond to them. I don't see a history of smoking which is good. You may need a CXR. All the best
