A member asked:

I have generalized anxiety that causes chest pains and shortness of breath. would a snri make it worse b/c of the added norepinephrine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See answer: An SNRI would not necessarily worsen anxiety. In fact, some are indicated for anxiety disorders. That said, any med decision for your anxiety requires an exam by your pcp to rule out medical causes, eg, thyroid, cardiac. I hope this helps.
