Kidney adjusting: After nephrectomy it is essential the remaining kidney be able to filter the large amt. of serum for remove of toxins and have the tubules reabsorb 90% of the filtered serum otherwise dehydration would occur. Following partial nephrectomy decreased renal tubules respondig to antidiuretic hormone are diminished and will have to adjust to the more tubular filtering and ADH (vasopressin) readsoption
