Trauma or IVs: Small air bubbles in the brain are usually in veins due to IV therapy and usually dissolve spontaneously. Free air inside the skull indicates a penetrating injury or fracture in the skull or a sinus air cell and needs to be thoroughly investigated and treated to prevent intracranial infection.

Few: Except mild headache sometimes. Cause of air bubble need to be sought. No specific treatment if no cause is found. In some patients there is leakage of air from nose, throat to brain commonly due to fracture. See your doctor.
