No: No, totally different pain profile. Trigeminal neuralgia - shocklike pain, very severe, no pain between episodes. Bruxism - stiff painful jaw muscles, head and neck pain, dental pain. Non-episodic. For either disorder, see orofacial-TMJ expert.

Unrelated: In trigeminal neuralgia pain is caused by damage to the trigeminal nerve, a cranial nerve that comes directly from the brain stem. Bruxism is the involuntary grinding of the teeth, typically during sleep and it is movement disorder.
