I had a colposcopy & was told not to have sex for a week. i forgot and had sex the same day. did i really hurt my body?

It depends,,,,: This likely depends on the results of your colposcopy and other factors. If you're pregnant, it might not be a good idea to have sex especially if you had this procedure done during pregnancy as biopsies might've been taken and the cervix might be damaged or at least bleed. If you did this once, try not to do anymore for a week and let your doctor know so he/she is aware. Best of luck.
