See the full count: You need to look at the entire blood count and compare with the reference or normal ranges that are given in the lab report. Abnormal counts may have today with bone marrow disorders or may be due to peripheral factors. Thus, increased monocytes are seen in viral and some other infections while eosiophils are increased in allergic conditions and parasitic infections
