Depends: This is entirely up to you. Traveling with cloth diapers can be challenging because they have to be properly cleaned and stored for your travel back home. Disposable diapers can be thrown away in garbage cans as needed, but obviously put more of a strain on the environment. Whatever you feel most comfortable with is perfectly fine.

Depends:: Where you are going, will it be easier to launder cloth diapers or replace disposable ones?

Disposable: Cloth diapers require storage and special cleaning which make them very difficult to deal with while traveling. Use disposable diapers for travel.

Disposable: Travel may be a stressful time for the new family.Considering a newborn will go through about 12 diapers a day, you need to consider how many you will need for your journey, where will you store them, where will you launder them. How long is this going to take away from your vacation? Maybe the less stressful and practical thing to do is use disposable diapers when you travel and cloth at home.

Personal choice: This is a personal choice. I personally can't see how people travel with cloth diapers but i know that many of my patients do. It's up to you really.

Disposable diapers: Bring along disposable diapers when traveling, unless one is certain that there is a convenient way to wash and dry cloth diapers (such as if one's diaper service has a branch office in the city one is traveling to).

Your preference: Cloth and disposable diapers each have their own advantages and disadvantages when traveling. Do you prefer to tote around dirty diapers to avoid increasing trash? Or would you prefer to bring along disposable diapers, realizing you will need to bring a large supply or buy them at your destination? It is really an individual choice.
