Fracture boot. i was given a boot for my fractured ankle. it seems that my ankle moves slightly within the boot. is this acceptable? thank you.

Ideally no: depends how far along you are in the healing process. Too much movement will probably just irritate your foot/ankle. Ultimately, you should check with your treating doctor

Probably: Slight movement in the boot is probably ok, although you could request being seen in the office to see if they could get you a better fitting boot. C likely if your doctor felt that slight movement would be a problem he would have put you in a cast and not in a boot. I would make sure your doctor is aware.
