Follow up: Most patients will experience some discharge and spotting for a couple of days to weeks after a D and C. Some do not. Typical things get back to normal 4-6 weeks when the first menstrual cycle comes. Regardless a follow up appointment with your surgeon should be made after any surgery to make sure all is well.
