Diffuse itching: If your itching is without hives unlikely to be the celebrex, (celecoxib) you need to see a dermatologist or allergist.

Burning itch: There are a number of conditions that could cause this, such as eczema or psoriasis. Hives can do that as well, but even though the condition itself (hives or urticaria) can last a long time, the individual lesions don't last more than 24 hours. It would be important to see the rash to do the proper evaluation. Also there are systemic conditions that can cause itching over the entire body.

Could be: a slight sulfa reaction overlap with Celebrex. Ask your doc for something else!
