What should my oxygen rate be with chf and how low can it get before it causes problems?

Above 90%: When someone with heart failure is stable their oxygen saturation as measured on a pulse oximetry (usually on their fingertip) should be greater than 90%. Lower than that may indicate retention of fluid in the lungs and necessitate a visit to the ER or the cardiologist to adjust medications and re-assess.
