I was in the er yesterday and noticed there was dried blood on the side poles of my bed. should i be concerned? my purse may have come in contact.

Prob no worries.: Even if ur purse came in contact w/ the pole, most likely nothing was transferred. I assume u did not touch the dried blood. Unless there was blood-to-fluid contact (e.g. u had a cut & rubbed it on the spot) there is very little to no chance that anything was transmitted. No need to be anxious about this; however, the hospital staff should do a better job of cleaning up their equipment!
