Stop Biting: The tissues of the oral cavity can rapidly recover from minor trauma. If you can stop biting your lip and avoid any additional trauma or insult to the affected area, it may recover. if the area persists, or becomes hard, crusty appearing or bleeds readily, have your dentist examine the area to see if any treatment may be indicated.

See your PCP ASAP: Lip-biting syndrome is a chronic anxiety disorder. If white spot/patch are left untreated, they may turn into a tumor. See your PCP for consultation and treatment to relieve anxiety and/or stress.
