Life is not 100%: A woman using oral birth control pills can be 100% sure that she is NOT 100% protected from getting pregnant unless she never has sex with a fertile guy. If she has sex, no birth control pill that is 100% effective. That being said, birth control pills are among the most effective if taken correctly. She can also have the guy use condoms to avoid certain STD's and perhaps avoid some vaginal odors.
