Boil: Warm compression is a commonly accepted and advised treatment modality for superficial skin infections. Warming a washcloth and compressing the area for 10-15 minutes four times per day will help the lesion heal or drain more efficiently. Sometimes antibiotics or surgical drainage is necessary.
