Changes in vaginal..: ...secretions are usually related to changes in female hormones. These include cyclic changes in the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and hormone based contraceptives. Vaginal discharge, especially if it's accompanied by other symptoms, is often caused by infection and requires medical attention. A positive pregnancy test reliably indicates pregnancy; change in vaginal secretions does not.
