Watch it: The narrowing of stool caliber in colon cancer comes on gradually and is consistent. Everybody's bowel movements change considerably from day to do and being overattentive to them is not helpful. If something is obviously wrong and it lasts two weeks or is painful, she should be seen.

Stool size: Depends on the foods we are eating. A thin stool is not a sign of cancer. Unexplained blood is. Make sure her diet contains lots of fibre. Stools come is all sizes and unless you notice an ongoing pattern, try not to worry. Discuss with your doctor. All the best.
