Brown discharge: If it is a few days before your period it could be the beginning of the period. There is always some variation. We usually see blood if doing a pelvic a day or 2 before a period begins May also be slight infection. We have bacteria in our vaginal tract and at times stress, antibiotics can cause overgrowth. if you period comes in next day or so, no pain burning woudl not worry. f/u w/ doc
