Need to ask more: This situation needs to be discussed with the doctors taking care of her. As a general rule after brain injuries some body movements are abnormal signs ( for ex. There is a kind of jerking movement that affects various muscle groups called myoclonus that is not a good sign, other movements may indicate purposeful or semi purposeful activity. This needs to be discussed with her doctors. Good luck.
