Is it possible for long-term xerostomia (reduced saliva production for 3 months) to be caused by severe anxiety and stress that started 4 months ago?

Possible but seek MD: prolonged xerostomia should warrant MD evaluation - many medications such as for allergies, sleep and anxiety can cause this, but other hormonal/metabolic and even autoimmune disorders also can.
