Chylamdia: Hopefully treated on time. You can have an exam that looks at your Fallopian tubes but I would get well treated and make sure you are culture negative and wait to see if you have trouble with infertility. This only happens occasionally. All the best.

There can be,depends: The germ can travel up into your fallopian tubes and cause inflammation ; scaring that might prevent a natural pregnancy or place you at risk of a tubal pregnancy in the future. Early recognition and treatment with antibiotics may limit the damage.Your obgyn can explain the limitations of tests available to study the effect on your system.
