Two questions here!: Yes, you can get pregnant the last day or the day after your period. If you have short cycles, you may ovulate earlier than average. Sperm can wait patiently in the Fallopian tubes for UP TO 7 days before u ovulate! Your second question is more complicated. Go to >mayoclinic.org
