That depends on: what type of tablets you are using. Ibuprofen and naproxen are the over-the-counter medications that work best for cramps. If you've already tried them, make sure you are taking the proper "prescription strength" dose. Please speak to your doctor about what that would be and if that's not working, you should also speak to your doctor about prescription options.
