Pain control: given plavix is a blood thinner, do NOT take ibuprofen, advil, motril, aspirin. as these medications also act to thin your blood, and thus increase your chance of bleeding. easy over the counter is tylenol (acetaminophen) 650mg ever 4hrs as needed for pain, not to exceed 4000mg in 24hr period. You can also have your provider suscribe you narcotics like Ultram, morphine, percocets.
