Not usually: BUT different people call different things lasers. If you have a darker skin type then IPL for example (which some call laser but is not) can cause post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Assuming you had the laser hair removal done professionally, ask the person who did it what they used and what can be done now about the pigmentation. Another type of laser (1064 NdYag) perhaps.
