Depends: upon where the avulsion fracture occurred! For example in a "strong bone" such as the fibula (ankle ) avulsion a small cyst is probably not significant! However in a FINGER its very significant since it can weaken the bone! Consult with your ORTHOPEDIST for a more informed and exact diagnosis/prognosis Hope this helps! DR Z
