It is possible : Stopping birth control after long term use can produce side effects, including insomnia. These usually improve as the body begins to regulate hormone production. If the insomnia gets progressively worse or is severe please be sure to contact your provider for further evaluation. In the meantime practice good self care and be sure to practice good sleep hygiene (see link in comments). Be well.
