Many possible causes: Spotting between periods, or other abbnormal vaginal bleeding, has many causes. At your age of 18 and sexually active, STDs are high on the list of possibilities, especially gonorrhea or chlamydia. There are many other possibilities as well. See your GP or gynecologist ASAP, or perhaps your nearest NHS GUM clinic, where you will get expert, lifestyle-senstive care. Good luck!
