Likely not: Classic sciatica radiates from the low back/ buttock and shoots down your leg. This occurs when a whole nerve root is irritated. Irritation can occur anywhere however so could manifest solely as toe pain, knee pain, etc. This would be unusual however, especially for the back of your knee. The most common cause of pain behind the knee would be tendonitis or other similar ortho problems
