Yes - oral/oral: Epidemiology study showed that open-mouth kissing is also associated with acquired oral HPV infection (Sex Transm Dis. 2012: 39(7):559). The risk increases among smokers or persons with multiple partners. Among all the infections, only small percentage of HPV strains are oncogenic (causing cancers).
