Need more work up : Your symptoms could indicate an infection or something more chronic like Crohn's disease. C-reactive protein usually indicates inflammation when the level is elevated, but that could be for a variety of reasons. Ask your doctor about imaging, such a CT of the abdomen and pelvis; this may provide a lot of information
