A member asked:

What do the words "focal and residual" mean in the context "focal residual complex hyperplasia"? my pathology report. thanks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need the report: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have helped to have the actual report. You did not state what was biopsied. In any case, there is no cancer in the tissue examined by the pathologist.
