Can depakote cause memory loss when started taking depakote 1000mg for headaches i have had trouble recalling and remembering things and spelling?

Could be side effect: Depakote does not cause memory loss but it can make some people feel sleepy or inattentive. These effects tend to improve after taking it for a couple weeks.
