Yes and Yes: Ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) is formulated with acetaminophen, but an rx just for tramadol has none. So if its just straight tramadol, there is no interaction (or worry about liver toxicity). The max dose of acetaminophen is 3 grams(ie 3000 mg) daily assuming your liver is healthy. While more common in the colder months as people gather together, you can certainly get the flu even in the summertime.
