Relax, you're okay: IgG being positive is an indication that you have been exposed to CMV at some time in your life. There is no way to determine when that exposure occurred. IgM would be an indication of a more recent exposure and because it is negative, it indicates that the CMV exposure has not been recent.

CMV Titer: What your test means is you have been exposed to CMV at some time in your life and have antibodies to the virus. You are like most adults in the world. Since your IgM is negative you do not have an acute infection so there is no risk to your baby. You are not going to be sick from CMV. The lab result you have is normal.
