Short answer is yes: You should see your OB/GYN for an examination. You may have developed some scar tissue and if not remedied will make intercourse painful and may also cause a problem with next pregnancy. The doctor has some good choices to help relieve any pain in the exam & should give you instructions to help stretch the vaginal opening. It will take time but worth the effort.
