Sleep, eat, exercise: You probably know sleep, eating right and exercise have been well researched to help with mild to moderate levels of depression. Also, individuals who seek treatment (therapy and/or medication) recover from episodes of depression significantly faster. Taking the time to acknowledge the depression and get the help and support you need and deserve can make a world of difference.

Treatment Works!!: You should be evaluated by a psychiatrist who will work with you to determine the nature of your depression. The treatment may be some kind of talking therapy and /or medication. Treatment does work and you shouldn't have to suffer with this symptom

1-Lifestyle, 2-Meds: Lifestyle changes can be a powerful way to treat depression. Research shows that regular exercising (vigorously if your doctor approves) helps. Meditation has also been shown to help for some people. Psychotherapy, especially cognitive-behavioral therapy, has been shown to help. There are many different antidepressant medications also - consult your doctor.
