Hemophilia: Hemophilia is a very famous genetic disease that involves deficits in the proteins made in the liver to help with clotting. When these proteins are not present any injury can lead to bleeding to death. Now a days this horrible disease is easy to manage and people do not bleed to death. They have to take medication to boost their ability to clot their blood and to be very careful.

Family practice : Hemophilia a and b are what we call sex linked disorders. It is demonstrated in all males who carry the gene. Women have 2 x chromosomes so they would have to obtain a gene from both parents to be symptomatic. Hemophilia a is lacking blood clotting factor vlll. B form is lacking factor lx. They can continue to bleed when injured if left untreated.
