Med withdrawal: You should be supervised if stopping Risperdal, usually tapering down dose gradually, to avoid what you're going through. Don't know dosage you stopped, what else you may be taking or other health factors that could be making you feel this way. Call prescribing doctor asap for guidance or go to urgent care if you can't reach your doctor. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Always possible: It's always possible for you to go into the ER. They may ask ? and advise you to see your Dr. Or, they might evaluate you and decide on treatment referrals or admit you. You can even call to ask advice about your condition. Have facts like dates, dosage, other meds, etc. to tell them if possible.s

See below: Reducing or stoping risperdal and other atypical anti-psychotics can cause severe withdrawal symptoms in some patients, depending on the dosage they were on and the length of time on it. You may need to resume the medication or increase the dose, and then gradually tapper. Consult your prescribing physician.
